I've lived in four different apartment complexes in the West Campus area during my college career and the Villas on Guadalupe has managed to disgust me far beyond anything I have ever experienced. There staff if the most disrespectful, negligent, and incompetent group of employees I have ever witnessed. If you ask for something to be repaired such as your lights/washer/dryer, you'll be lucky if they get it fixed within a month if at all. They are constantly trying to add extra fines to your monthly rent. Every month they charged me a late fee even when I turned my rent in on time. I always had to make trips to the office to get it sorted out. I suppose they just count on kids being to lazy to argue the illegitimate fine. The only repairs and renovations that do to the building are ones that improve its outside appearance. The actual units and the gates are failing apart. This place is EXTREMELY LOUD; and not because tenants are being unreasonably loud but because Villas used cheap construction materials. You can literally here every footstep you neighbors take. There is no insulation so our energy bills were enormous. This place knows how to cut costs and they do it were it hurts students the most. It s sad to see someone make a business out of taking advantage of college students. Don t be another one of their victims with a dollar sign on your head.
