The woman that manages the apartment is VERY rude. I had thought she was crazy from the moment my roomates and I started to look at the available apartments. She complained about everything in the apartment, from the way the furniture was moved to the tenant's preference, to simple things that were hung in the room. If the table wasn't wiped, she would complain about that as well. I had heard a lot about this woman even before I moved in but didn't seem to mind because the price was very
reasonable for the area (which is fabulous by the way). Overall, living there was great, the area is nice, it is right in front of the IF bus stop so that's REALLY good, and people at the apartments are super nice (usually you'll befriend another apartment or two). Oh, and there's plenty of parking for tenants (1 parking permit per tenant). I tried to avoid the woman as much as I could because I knew there would be something else she would complain about.
Onto the apartment itself.
Good for the price that you pay. I would be neutral on anyone staying here really. But be aware that you see Satan on earth sometimes. It's kind of like that. I lived in a 3/2. Spacious rooms upstairs but small room downstairs (up and downstairs unit). Building is pretty old and you can tell but not very bad for the price..once again. At the end, she'll try to nit-pick at everything so that she can steal your deposit. She may even charge you more. It's a risk. Your choice. But I moved out after a year of staying there.
