This isn't the best place, but to get better, you have to pay a lot more.

I lived here for almost 2 years. I left because of personal reasons that are not the fault of the apartment or the apartment management.

Overall, for a place to stay and a place to sleep, this complex is very nice. I usually tend to sleep rather deeply, so noise isn't that much of a problem. Besides, my computer tends to be on 24/7, which masks a lot of noise. My AC/electricity bills are rather low (about $40-70 a month).

My only real objection to this complex are the driveways that are on the Cedar Bend side. I suggest going really slow on those to prevent wear on your shocks on your car. Also, the parking lot is not in the best of shape, but they were planning to resurface it around the time when I moved out.

Also, get to know who works in the office. When I was here, it was the same two ladies and manager the whole time (for the most part). I know I probably inconvenienced them with all the heavy packages I had them sign and keep for me, but they're really decent, and I don't trust any business with the apartment aside from the two ladies and the manager. I usually personally hand my rent check to one of them, partially because I can't seem to remember how much my rent was....

I know that there are higher rated apartments on this website, but their rent is at least $100-300 more than what you can get here

To BrutallyHonest:
What is it with people who think a positive response equals a staff member' That's just dumb.

1. I checked the prices of just about every single apartment complex in that area. I know my numbers.
2. I've never had my car broken into.
3. The manager was okay, actually.
4. If he is still doing it, I certainly don't hear it.
5. I wouldn't know the answer to that one.

I think you're being TOO picky about where you live.

To Ranma100.... again, why do people ALWAYS assume that positive reviews = staff'

Yes, my electric bill was only around $40-70 dollars. I do keep my AC at around 78-82 degrees.

OMG, " I do keep my AC at around 78-82 degrees " WOW , WOW , and double WOW . That's not even turning AC on in the first place. I turn my AC to 75 degrees JUST to keep myself cool while not trying to kill myself paying 300 dollar for electric bill. 1. The manager is a lady, don't know what HE you are talking about. 2. There are other places that are cheaper around there, it took me little effort to search for other cheaper place on the internet. 3. The only REASON why I moved there cause I used to know the manager ( the younger manager ) there, and she gave me a little deal... not the ----- there now. They changed my AC unit one month before I moved out >>>>> do you know why ? Cause it a piece of s@#$ and the whole apartment complex are really run down. If you don't believe me, go to the apartment 524 and check it out. Does your bathroom floor feel like it going to collapse ? Does your kitchen wall have mold ? Does your bed room wall have a big crack near the window ? How many time do you have to call maintenance guy? What I experienced in that apartment is what I wrote, no more no less. Again, check out 524, and no I'm not dumb when I said you work for them. Normal people like Brutallyhonest and I would like to keep ourselves cool , 75 degrees seem very reasonable ... 78-82 seem a little STUPID, why talking about AC if you are keeping it that high.

I disagree with many things you've said here...maybe you were lucky, not too picky....or deaf, dumb, & blind. I think Ranma100 might be right, you may work for them...How can you not remember how much your rent is? If you have that much money then I highly doubt you would choose to live in that place. The following points are things I disagree with you on: 1.) There are several other places you can find better for the same or even less money. 2.) Your car will get broken into if you park on a side of a building that has no windows. 3.) Manager is a typical 'twist', as are most property managers, she'll be accomodating and overly kind to you until you sign the contract. 4.) Does that young, black guy still live there who turns his $500 stereo, in his $300 car, on full blast at 4am every morning? 5.) Is buying drugs on-site still as easy as finding the nearest maintenance guy or your next door neighbor?

Another person who defaulted on their contract and now owe thousands of dollars. The unit in question has been occupied for quite sometime and the current tenant has not complained about any of the items mentioned above.
