Not a bad experience for a first time renter

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
Walnut Creek was the first apartment of my own. It took them a month to process my app but the person that did it was gone within a month of my moving in. They were really slow about taking care of my ant problem when I first moved in and the only reason they moved faster is because I threatened to call an attorney. Not long after I moved in they got a different manager and things got better. They re-did the boards on the outside of the apartments and the staff was better. Maintenance was still slow but you can't expect everything to be perfect. I would recommend it to someone looking for an apartment that isn't high class or high rent.
