Warwick was a really nice place to live, if you like neighbors that will talk with you and sit down for a beer on the patio. I had many great evenings hanging out with my neighbors. But don't get me wrong, the apartments suck. The place is rancid with mice and rodents, the managers are cheats and hot-heads, and you'll never see your deposit once you've signed it over to the management. My roommate received a telephone call from a collection agency 5 months after we moved out of the place, saying he owed $680 for the replacement of carpets in our apartment. When we moved in, the carpet was falling apart and was already dirty, and though we noted this on our check-in form, they apparently still charged us, and we never got our money back. On top of that, the property company forwarded my roommate's info to a collection agency without ever notifying him of charges (the property company had his mail forwarding address, and my roommate never received word nor sign until a guy from India with the fake name "Tom White" called and said he had to pay $680 in 2 days or he would get a ---- stain on his credit). Trust me, this WILL happen to you if you ever live at Warwick. A better idea: search craigslist.com for someone renting a room in their house -- no property company = no -------- charges.
