We totally dislike our townhome, everything abt it sucks- esp the maintenance. We never have things fixed when we requested things to be fixed, elec bill is too high here... because they won't come fix & air seal doors/windows because the air was leaking badly which caused high elec bill. Since we are both deaf, they refuse to install flash fire alarms even after we threatened them with ADA law, we are beyond fed up! We have hearing dogs, they still refused to waive pet deposits for them. We found a new place that is more than willing to waive our pet deposits and even the pet rent! And they also installed new flash fire alarms and flash doorbell alarms as an extra!
Managers here at Waters Edge SUCKS!!!!!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!! qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai

Manager's Response

From: Manager Date: 05/08/2009
We are sorry to hear that any of our residents (previous or current) have had an unhappy stay here with us but our leasing staff and maintenance staff alike strive for excellence and quality. Any work orders submitted are usually addressed within 48 hours unless they require any special order work or parts. It is my understanding that there may have previously been window sealing issues when our brand new siding was installed throughout the community in early 2008 but they have all been addressed and we have not received any work orders or resident concerns regarding this particular issue in almost a year. We appreciate and welcome our handicapped residents and always offer to make any reasonable changes to an apartment in accordance with the ADA and as such, residents may be responsible for the cost associated with the changes requested. Also, we are always more than willing to waive a pet deposit for any pet aides but we do require the proper documentation associated, which is usually never a problem for our residents. In an effort to serve all of our residents in the best possible way, we always welcome any suggestions or concerns from our residents.
