I've been in Austin for 16 years and have lived in apartment complexes from south and central to north Austin. Waters Park offers one of the best locations in the city with easy access to Mopac, the TX toll way and I-35. I've lived here now for close to two years and lived here five years ago for a couple of years. When my job brought me to this area again I knew I wanted to live here. Even touring some other complexes in the area there was no doubt Waters Park offered the best location, friendliest staff, and beautiful complex. I'm proud to have guests and family visit because the grounds and property in general leave nothing to be desired. One the best features is the community they allow to live here. Its a melting pot of all cutlures and types of people. However, you are not the getting the dirty, classless, disrespectful, or "ghetto" residents I have found living in other complexes. Nothing is better than living in a gated community in a prospering area of Austin. I feel my own person, belongings and vehicle are safe here. Unlike other areas of town and complexes I have been robbed in home and my vehicle. Once not to long ago there were a series of vehicle break-ins. Within a couple of days the criminals were caught on property by police who had been patroling the complex. The "kids" involved in the crimes lived off-site in another neighborhood. This just goes to show how proactive and caring the staff are to eliminate a problem. Personally the staff have always been extremly responsive to any request that involved a need in or outside of my apartment. With all this in mind you are going to pay a premium price to live here but its worth it!

The above comment for the title "1 of the best" sounds a bit suspicious. Almost as if a staff member wrote it...I am a former resident of Waters Park and it was a nightmare that began 2 days before my move in date. And as for the comment about friendly staff??????? you have got to be kidding me those females are nothing but a bunch of self-centered B*tches that think their ---- don't stink.

I don't work here; I just love living here. You reap what you sow. In other words you probably had a bad experience because you were a bad resident.
