I remember when I lived here when I was married and it is a nice community and well maintained. But the thing is, it is over priced. From what I remembered, 3 bedrooms went for $1,500 a month which to me is outragous and is a house payment. I suppose it is worth paying for in a way considering it is roomy and you get what you pay for and has good amenities. When we signed a 14 month lease, we paid around $950 a month for a 2/2 and was told it would probably only go up about $30 - but they lied. When we went to renew, the lease went from $950 to $1050 for our 2/2. That was a freaking $100 jump considering it was 10 years ago. So we moved. Everything was perfect when we moved in except for one thing and that there was a bright red stain in the living room carept area, which I over looked. When we moved out, we cleaned and cleaned and made it as perfect as we could and even steam cleaned the carpets. I remember getting into an argument with one of the staff where they said it smelled too much like bleach and the front bedroom carpet was faded. I told her that most people don't clean well upon move out and that the fading I thought was part of the wear and tear. This lady got mad at me and argued with me about it. We only got back like $150 from the deposit where we put a big deposit down and I was pissed about that - I understand that part of the deposit is kepted for cleaning but come on now, it was cleaned mind you and some people trash out apartments or don't even bother cleaning. I was also very surprised that they even let a Rottweiler live in the community too considering that those kinds of breeds are very aggressive - besides I don't trust those breeds. They should not be allowed in apartments along with Pit Bulls.

Lucky you. At least you got something back! We steamed our carpet as well and when we moved out, they told us we owed them money for "extensive carpet cleaning." Then sent me pictures of normal wear on the carpet by the door. I fought them on it until they sent me a notice from some lawyer to collect funds. I gave up and paid because I didn't want it to effect my credit. The bummer is we had a dog and paid the non-refundable pet deposit (which I was told goes towards the carpets). I had to pay over $100 (after my pet deposit and my regular deposit). I think all potential renters should be aware though... Don't plan on walking on your carpet at all because they'll charge you in the end for it!!!

Yeah I got something back cause I made a big stink about it and sent them numerous letters thru certified mail and even threatened them with court.
