Screwed, Indeed.

I?ve lived here 3 months. I chose the apartments because they were across the street from my job and because the landscaping was natural and somewhat attractive, at least compared to the standard ?concrete and bushes? of other complexes.

Dealing with the management, however, has been taxing and frustrating.

Recently I paid my rent 2-3 days early, only to receive an eviction notice a little over a week later stating my rent was not paid for that month. Yes, an EVICTION NOTICE for paying my rent EARLY. No prior warning, either.

When I moved in, dust was caked on the lighting fixtures, ceiling fan, kitchen shelving, and blinds - pretty thick. The stove was FILTHY and the fridge was moldy. The vertical blinds were inoperable. The vertical blinds were replaced, although backwards, so that the handle to the blinds is *behind* the blinds, making it awkward to operate. The patio screen door and the window screen were very crooked, allowing all sorts of insects to enter the apartment if I left the windows open on nice days. I?ve put in two work orders to repair or replace the screens, and only the patio screen door was "fixed". The window screen remains un-repaired. The pressure of the hot water changes constantly, making showers an interesting challenge. Also, Half of the dryers in the laundry room have remained un-repaired by management since I moved in.

I fully documented all damages to the apartment upon move-in, but expect to be billed regardless upon moveout. I simply do not trust this staff.

Also, If my building has a building number posted on it, I?ve yet to find it. It is extremely difficult for visitors and delivery persons to find my apartment because of this.

As others have stated, management turnover has been consistant, which probably leads to alot of this. I?ve heard similar problems from others who lived at Greystone Park Apts, also owned by Dalcor Properties.
