I lived here for three years during the Austin boom - i was glad to get it, since I have a dog. It was owned by Jefferson when I moved in, and was rather a nice place, with the trees and hills and rock walls. The view from my 3rd floor apartments (i had two right next to each other successively) was excellent and the area of town is lovely. When Dalcor bought the property, everything started going to hell pretty fast. These are old apartments (1981) and require a lot of maintenance, and in our last year there things got bad fast. I guess Dalcor is just patching things up to keep hobbling along until either the buildings collapse into the ravine or they sell it. Get an apartment on far west if you can, it's a nice area, but unless you happen to get one of the better cared for apartments on the third floor overlooking Wood Hollow, stay the hell away.
