Believe it or not, these apartments are actually getting away with not providing a basic 21st century standard--hot water. I don't know why anyone that is having this problem is still living in the complex, but they are apparently content with life in the slums. The place is nestled in a beautiful tree-filled setting, but this does not make up for the poor living conditions. The on-site management is powerless and the regional head of Dalcor (the evil empire) is tirelessly unavailable. The descaling system installed on the troubled boiler is a joke, and I am certain at some point the entire system will need to be replaced (but it will take a tenant revolt). Don't rent here if you intend to take a hot bath at any time. In three months, I had one hot bath/shower; but only because I boiled the water on the stove. Sickening, don't you think' Also, the restriping of the lot was insane. A 12 hour notice is NOT enough--common sense guys, come on.
