First, no hot water. A trickle that comes out of the shower in the morning, and even that fades to nothing. I have to shower at the gym.

Then the mice...except they're not mice. They're rats, and they're bigger than my fist. They're everywhere - up every shelf in the pantry, on top of the refrigerator. And they're loud enough to wake you up at night.

Now that it's summer, we're back to an A/C that can't keep up with the heat. The unit runs constantly to keep the apartment at a balmy eight-five degrees.

And on top of that, a COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE management team. The peons who work in the office have no authority to make any decisions, and the Dalcor email address evidently goes off into the ether. But the guy in Dallas who manages this property is named Randy, and his office phone number is 972-858-0888, so good luck.
