I am the Community Manager at Westdale Creek apartments. I felt compelled after reading the reviews to respond and update the information about Westdale Creek (formerly Indian Creek). When Westdale purchased the property in mid 2005 we did so knowing that we would be performing a major Rehab on the property. Many of the residents were with out water and hot water was also a problem. Westdale immediately began to work on the water problems by repairing the boilers and descaling the water pipes. Westdale management worked dilligently to insure that the resident had water that was uninterrupted. I am happy to say that the water is rarely turned off, and when it is, it is only for a couple hours when necessary to repair any plumbing issues a resident might have.
The Rehab at Westdale Creek is completed and the residents are very happy with the added ammenities (Business Center and Fitness Center) and the overall changes at the property. Management is courteous and professional. service requests are completed in a timely manner and Westdale Creek is a beautiful property. who doesn't smoke weed in their apt? THIS IS AUSTIN! Thanks to the grandfather clause this place will always suck, I've been in the attic of these apts and it is infested with pests and the insulation is barely and inch thick. The best "rehab" for this place would be to bulldoze the whole place and start anew... take a lesson from West Campus.
