Austin Energy Power Saver Program

My experience at Westdale Creek has mostly been on par with an older complex and inexpensive rent. However, the management enrolled all apartments in the Austin Energy Power Saver Program where Austin Energy controls your thermostat during the summer & powers OFF the air conditioner. The Ausin Energy website requires tenants and landlords to sign a release form. However, I was not given the release form, nor was I told that the a/c would be powered off. The a/c units in this complex were not replaced, subsequently, the apartment does not cool down sufficiently after the a/c is returned to consumer control.

Just an FYI, you can easily go into the office and request that the themostat be changed so that you do not have to deal with the Austin Energy.

Did that - they wouldn't change it until I threatened to do it myself.
