We moved into this complex at the beginning of the summer after having to change our move in dates to deal with misinformation from the office staff. When we got here the apartment we were given was NOTHING like the apartment we had been shown. The entire place was a dump. Since we have been here we have had 4 severe plumbing problems including one flood in the middle of the night that the maintenance man on call told us "was not a maintenance emergency and could wait a few days". Maintenance requests are not taken seriously or completed within a reasonable time frame. Office staff is consistently rude, uninformed and completely incompetent.
Also, the complex is entirely incapable of communicating with its residents. I would think that things like having the water turned off due to a pipe burst or having every single washer and dryer removed from the (already filthy and nearly unusable) laundry room would have been communicated to residents ahead of time.
The staff at Westdale Parke has zero interest in making your time here a pleasant or even tenable experience. I plan on breaking my lease to move within the next few weeks. We can't put up with this anymore.
If you are looking for an apartment and thought of using any Westdale owned property look elsewhere. Believe me, it will save you time, money and frustration.
