this place is ridiculous. they probably use the only semi-decent apartment as the model and sucker you into signing a lease that can have fees added onto at anytime without your consent and as soon as you're in you're treated like a piece of crap.
don't go to the office expecting any help from the staff bc you won't find it. don't expect to be told if there have been car break ins or robberies bc they won't tell you. instead, if it happens to you, they'll tell you to keep it a secret. WTH''' don't go ask for the maintenance crew to clean up the flood in your ugly bathroom bc it won't be tended to for another 2 weeks so you better not be one of those ppl who uses your restroom every day!!!! don't ask for your faulty deadbolt on your ugly chipped painted door to be repaired bc it's not gonna happen. you better have an entertainment center that you can shove in front of your door to keep the weirdos out of the crusty painted over sheet rock that you call your apartment. OH! and do not, I MEAN DO NOT, expect to have a professional conversation with any of the staff members in the leasing office (after you have already been suckered into your lease, of course) bc they are incapable of doing so.
if you rent here, be prepared to be lied to by the staff, treated like crap, hung up on if you call and ask any questions, have extra fees added to your lease without notification, have no maintenance service, walk over broken glass scattered in the parking lot from the car break ins, bathroom floods, and no notice of having no hot water at random times throughout the day. i'm glad i was able to get the heck out of there.

like i said, they take the only semi-decent looking place and use it as their model and cleverly say that they can't show you the apartment you will actually be in bc the tenant hasn't moved out yet, but assure you that your apartment will be the same as the model. BULL! and if you try to get something done about it, too bad! you're already in the lease!
if brian, rachel, erika, or the rude hispanic woman who has a bad habit of hanging up on ppl are still there... you'd be better off living in hell!
i'm sure one of the dopes from the staff is going to try to respond to this bc they're too dense to realize they should get off their lazy butts and actually help their tenants instead of wasting time on the internet.
but hey, that's just another reflection of what the staff at westdale is all about. GO TEAM!

I'd like to add one thing to that.... I had the same awful experience as you, but with MOLD factored in- yup, that's right. And no, it wasn't fixed right. And yes, I am leaving - i refuse to sit in an apartment that is infested with mold and continue to get sick.
