NOt only did my rent just go up $50 fo rno reason, on the apartment I've been in for 2 years, but then they slap hidden fees that normal complexes would include in the rent. @ for gas, $5 for tash, $ for something else, AND the water bill is now (apparently without notifying anybody) due with your rent. SO after the $50 hike up on my rent I have an additional $34.00 in 'fees' that are due WITH the rent, hence making my monthly payment to this complex AT LEAST $84 HIGHER. Nothing has changed in my apartment. In fact, things have broken, my toilet runs constantly, and now that it 28 degrees at night my heater is broken completely. After making specific maintenance requests to come at any time when I am home (I have had things stolen by maintenance at other complexes) they schedule a date, for which I take off work, and never show, and when I call they have no excuse for not showing. Then nothing happens for two months. By the time my ---- gets fixed I will have either frozen to death or will have been in hibernation until it's warm again. Please, if you're looking for somewhere to live, these prices are NOT competetive, plus the extra 'fees' each month. I'd say save yourself the hassle of dealing with these people and this ridiculous complex. DOn't even bother looking here...I wish I hadn't.

And for those of you looking for a place, DON'T trust what the office people tell you. First, like this person says, rent does not include normal things that most other places include (pest control, garbage pick up, water, etc.)
Also, they will up your fees IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR LEASE. So you agree to pay X, a month or two later, they give you a note telling you to pay more. They are legally NOT allowed to do this, but they'll pull it anyway.

they don't change the lease, you didn't read it. if you didn't want to stay then why did you sign the form and why didn't you read it.
