One of the greatest moments of my college career is MOVING OUT of Westdale Parke. The 6 months I spent there were either OK...or bad.

Management will make you miserable. It takes forever for maintenance to address your issues. They say they will come...and they will make you wait...and not come.

The best part is when you move out. They'll find ridiculous things to charge you for so that you can't get your deposit back.

Bottom Line: Don't live here. It's overpriced as well. You'll find the best deal at Oak Ridge Apartments I believe...which is just down the street. They will also raise the apartment price when it's time to renew.

I didn't get my deposit back either when I moved out. Management didn't even provide an itemized list of all the things I was charged for. I'm positive the reason was because there was nothing to charge me for. I left that place cleaner than it was when I moved in! But since it was only $100, I decided to forget about it and high tail out of there. I can afford $100, but unfortunately not everybody can. Do not live here unless you want to get robbed by management!

I did not receive my deposit back either. i was told it was for pet cleaning. When i asked what my $400 pet fee went to, i was told " the pet fee is a fee to be able to keep an animal in your apartment. it does not go towards cleaning, de-fleaing of the apartment." and that makes you ask the question "Then where the hell does that $400 i just gave you go?!" A bunch of thieves if you ask me, they will always find something else that you have to pay.

I did not receive my deposit back. Nor did I receive an itemized bill, or a bill in general for that matter! In addition, within less than 1 month of moving out, they had hired a company to collect on me and put non payment of $400 on my credit report. I contacted them repeatedly and have yet to receive a bill from them (because there was nothing to bill??). How can you report on a persons credit if you never billed them? And in less than a month? This is the worst apartment management and staff I have ever encountered. I would never recommend living here.

I received my full deposit back. After threatening to take them to court. It is clearly stated in the lease that if your apartment is cleaned thoroughly with expected wear and tear, you are entitled to your full deposit back. I was told that they charge a generalized cleaning fee to each departing resident, so no one receives their full deposit back unless they fight it, and apparently enough people don't think it's worth the hassle. This practice is completely illegal. It's a very shady place, and if my choices were live on the streets or rent from Westdale again, I would gladly choose the streets.
