if this complex was on riverside or anywhere on the eastside, i wouldn't even give this place a thought.

Interesting how the updates done first seem to have been for aesthetics, probably to entice people to sign a lease, while the residents who already pay rent are getting shafted.

Message from Management: In response to thie posting, we are under taking a D-Scale for the property. This is done to clean out the calcium in the plumbing lines. Due to neglect from previous management companies, calcium has built up into the plumbling lines. Also due to deferred maintenace the plumbling lines were not properly maintained. Since we have taken over the property we were aware that the plumbling has been an issue. We realize that it has been an inconvenience to our residents and we are taking measures to finally get this corrected. This property had a lot of deffered maintenance and we are working to correct those issues. We first put new roofs and siding on all the buildings. We have built new retaining walls. We have also updated the pool area with new decks and furniture. We installed a 24 hour fitness center for our residents to use. The next project that we are working on is the D-Scale. We realize this is something that is not fun, however it will solve alot of the hot water issues once complete. We understand our residents concerns with these things, and we appreciate your patience while we work to correct these things for our residents. If anyone has any questions regaring the D-Scale or any issue feel free to contact the office at 345-4444 during office hours. The answering service does not information about things like this. They are an after hours service that take messages for the office. Our office is open Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday we are Closed.

I completely agree with your comment about demolishing this place. They should just burn the entire complex to the ground and rebuild rather than try to fix all the broken pieces. If they did a cost-benefit analysis, they'll see that that's the most economical way to go. Unfortunately, I don't think these Westdale geniuses are smart enough for that.

Westdale took over in 2004 or 2005, plenty of time to do whatever they should have done. The first responder is right; they are doing the cosmetic changes first and screwing current tenants.

Management is lying through their teeth when they said that "previous management companies" neglected to decale the water lines. I lived there from 2002-2003 when it was still Greystone Park and the lines were descaled then. That was only 5 years ago! I guess some things never change at that dump. Management is still a bunch of lying bastards.
