Like every single person who has written on this site about Westdale Parke, my experience was horrible. I was willing to write this place off as just a "bad apartment complex" with crappy management until I moved out last week and got a bill at my new address for damages done to the apartment. I gave Westdale Parke $600 when I moved in to the apartment as a deposit and pet fee, which I assumed would cover any damage that was done to the apartment when I moved out. I didn't mind paying it at the time because, lets face it, animals can do some harm. Guess what - the $400 pet fee is just for HAVING the pet in the apartment and does not have anything to do with possible damages done to the apartment. Not only am I not getting any of the $600 back, but I am being charged $418 on TOP of that. These -------s are charging me $75 for a dirty toilet... Total --------. Don't live here. Pay a little more for an apartment where the management gives its tenants some respect, and ALWAYS READ YOUR LEASE no matter what the person tells you it says as you're filling it out.
