These people, are right: this place has its problems! My toilet broke immediately, probably because it was from 1975, I find plenty of roaches in my kitchen and when they come in to do "pest control" it really makes no difference; some people in the office are incompetant; I saw a rat on the railing of one of my neighbor's balconies...but I still signed another 12-month lease here. I hate the roaches, but as long as my kitchen's clean, it's not too bad. I've never been bothered by rats in my own apartment, so that's not a problem to me. The pet fee is outrageous...it's a non-refundable $400, but I love my cat, so what am I going to do' I don't know. If you already have a pet and/or are afraid of rats or something, lease somewhere else, but I've already lived here about a year and I am perfectly happy! Maintenance is typically prompt and good, and other than the incompetant lady in the office, they've always been nice to me. This place is ok, and I plan to live here for another couple years!

Seriously? This place sucks but oh well lets just live here? Do you have any respect for yourself? There are plenty of apartments in Austin that are way better then that place!

Why does everyone who responds to reviews on this site think it's necessary be an -------? I wouldn't have written that this place is OK if I didn't enjoy living here, despite its problems. Also, belittling me gives me a clear picture of your OWN confidence level, so I hope that made you feel like a bigger person, dude. Hopefully you're not my neighbor!

Seriously people, why the anonymous comments? I guess some people just have lower standards than others. Besides the incompetent staff and management, the talk of roaches and rats would be enough to send me packing. Anything good you can find about this place is far outweighed by the bad.

I saw a rat in my kitchen one night but the next day they patched the hole behind the dishwasher where it was getting in. That was the only reason why I was forgiving - they fixed the problem. Wherever I live I use my own pesticide - Demon WP. You can make it as strong or dilute as you want. It WORKS. So I never had problems with roaches.
