well, i used to work at this hell hole. I am a well educated individual with a college degree that needed a job to get on her feet. I was offered the job and it seemed like a great idea. WRONG. Dalcor is a company that should be exposed on "Dateline" or something. People, welcome to corporate america. The owner of this company does not give a rat's ass if the people who live here have a decent palce to live. He just wants more money so he can drive around in his fat car and live in a nice house in snotty dallas. I have a heart and waanted so badly to help these people who live here, because i lived here to and could share the frustrations. A couple of days before christmas we were laid off. Why' Middle management could not answer why the occupancy was so low. So they blamed the office staff. That is not the case at all. The reason for the low occupancy is because there was NO HOT WATER for three months and people moved out. This water problem could have been fixed easily, but it too expensive for DALCOR. (or maybe the selfish bastards just wanted to stash some cash in their own pockets). They just halfway fixed it. Beware my friends it is not over. The water problems are going to come back in full force. Temporary fix to a major problem DALCOR SUX. U have no idea what a stress case i was working there, and i got paid jack ----. Go figure. Oh yeah, and to anyone complaing about the office staff....screw u because we have no power or authority. Our jobs were to be a buffer for complaints. I actually liked talking to all the residents and hearing their life stories.
