I have been treated ridiculously bad several times by the manager and assistant manager in the office, including multiple occasions where they have screamed at me just for walking in the door. This appears to be due solely to their frustration over the fact that they will not get money from me or anyone else in the apartment that none of us owe. (we have always paid everything on time and even for water when we shouldn't have because it was off all day for months) Couple this with the fact they are clinging to an untenable position regarding interpreting the lease, and there is just no way to adequately describe them. It's like they live in a parallel universe where logic does not exist.

Basically, do NOT sign a lease here. You will regret it. I have seen them be very nice to people (myself included once upon a time) and this can be quite disarming. Do not be lulled into signing a lease here. They WILL find some way to try and screw you over and the frustration you will go through is not worth the $50 a month or so you might save in rent. Especially since they will find a way to charge you more once you are roped in. If you are reading this as someone who has already signed a lease, do not let them walk all over you. Check with someone other than the office management about the terms of your lease.

Thanks for the heads up on my post (the previous one) regarding move out! They are going to find themselves with either a class action suit or a spot on the local news if they push through that trash bit, and when my lease comes up they will be getting 31 days notice, no more. Good luck!! We are all behind you!! Let us know how it goes! PS--Westdale is going around to the review sites of their properties writing fake reviews.
