I have lived here now for about 1 1/2 years. I have a huge hole in my living room wall next to the fireplace. This is caused by a previous water leak that has just recently been fixed. The wall has wood rott and also mold. When the wall finally started coming apart, I made the office aware that I wanted this repaired. Management went to asses the damage, and tried blaming me for this issue. My rent is not late my water is always payed! I spoke on the phone with the management, and they told me this! "Due to the refuges from Louisiana your issue will be on the back burner for now. It has now been 2 weeks, and on Monday I asked to speak with the manager again. I walked in there requesting to talk with her. She hid behind her desk and told the other associate to tell me that she was busy. He asked for my number so she can return my call. It has been 2 days since, with no return call. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! NEVER RENT HERE. For a fact and I called the city the water is off 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday, without a notice or any warning.

Austin didn't get that many, and I wouldn't think they'd be needing a lot of dry walling! Typical of management! Who did the hiding? Was it the one with the sort of curly, longish brown hair? They don't all seem bad, and I understand it's Westdale that sucks...

The main manager. She is the one. They don't need to lie. They also had some look at the damage to see if it was me that did the damage. Mark the mantainance man already told them that it was water damage way before they owned the property. These people are shady, and can't be trusted. Only when you are about to sign a lease, is when they say they will bend over backwards.....

Either you're living in my old apartment (1422, 2nd floor across from the main office) or you're as unlucky as I was. The rain gutter or something was causing the water to leak into the wall next to our front door which caused the wood to rot. They "fixed" it by cutting a hole in the wall the sice of a hubcap and replastering it. It not only looked horrible, but I don't think they bother to fix the leak!!!
