Ahhhhh...The Pointe at Wood Hollow. God forbid you get lured in by the -slightly- cheaper rent at this Far West hell hole. My roomie and I saw a nice model apartment, were treated well by the staff, but that all changed when we actually moved in. At first we lived through really loud neighbors, rude office staff, messed up bills from management, bad insulation (for HIGH electric bills) etc....but hey, it's a college apartment not a luxury apartment. We weren't complaining to the staff about it and just accepted that things aren't perfect.

However, things went downhill to the point we were miserable by winter, when the water heaters stopped working. In May of 2005, they were still only working about 30% of the time. All the work they did on the pipes caused or plumbing to freak out and flood one of the bedrooms.

Another time, leaks in the wall caused it to rot away and they never really repaired it....just covered it with fresh plaster.

One time, we came home to find our door wide open. We went to the office to report a possible break-in and they didn't care. Just..."oh...sucks to be you. what do you want US to do about it'"

They tried to keep our entire deposit due to a "technicality" in the lease, however, there was no technicality. They made a bunch of crap up over the phone, hoping we wouldn't care enough to fight for it.

It's every bit as awful as each bad review here describes. DO NOT LIVE HERE EVER.

Crawl before you get up running! The Management Team is picking up the pieces Dalcor left behind. Management has taken a big step in getting The Pointe at Wood Hollow up to what it should be. They are planning for the Pointe to be a Community and no longer what Dalcor called a complex! The Pointe Maintenance Team is upgrading every apartment with new appliances, carpet, plumbing and light fixtures! Stick around, change is an opportunity for growth!
