Horrible experience

The new ownership is trying to make the vacant apartments updated and nice but what about the people like me who have lived there for 5 years and have to deal with issues that are put on the backburner so they can concentrate on fixing up vacant apartments in order to get new people to rent. I have a roach problem, a bug problem, paint chips peeling off the bathtub, cabinet doors rotting so badly that they break when they are open and closed, water leaks around the door frame causing mold and mildew, and I could go on. When I asked to get the bathtub replaced, they said that they could just re-epoxy it and I would have to find a place to live for 5 days. Yeah, like that is really easy with pets. I could stay at a friend's house but I can't expect my friend to take my dog too and I can't keep my dog in a kennel for a week ($$$$). I understand that they are "doing the best they can" but they need to concentrate more on keeping their current tenants happy before they try to add more. The only good thing that I have to say about this is that the office staff has been really super nice. I have not yet had a problem with their attitude but I know to each his own. Hopefully this will get better but in the meantime, i don't anticipate staying.
