I have been at Westdale Pointe for almost two years. The staff has been great, you can't beat the quietness or location. I attended UT and the bus transportation was a huge benefit. (There is a stop located just across the street.) My neighbors were quiet, the pool area is great (9' deep pool), rarely had any problems with parking, I felt very safe in the area. The Far West area is mostly older people and college students (mostly older and grad students). It isn't a party area (unlike West Campus- where I moved from to get away from the noise and drunk, immature students.) Never had any issues of theft or vandalism. CVS, Blockbuster, HEB, Urgent Care, the post office, library, school running track, kickball field and much more are all located within a mile - easy walking distance. I would fully recommend this area to anyone, especially individuals looking for a secure location if they are living on their own for the first time.
