The apartment complex is older and yes there is some wear and tear. That said the comples has 2 full time maintenance people and both are very courtious and professional. Every time I have put in a maintenance request I have had the problem fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Some people complain about the maintenance but they forget they have to put in a Request Form. Walking into the office when they are busy on the phones or talking to people and saying by the way my .. needs to be fixed and then walk out what do they expect. The manager and office staff are both courtesy and professional. They have always listened to any concerns I have had and have done everything in their power to change things for the better. There is plenty of parking, the facilities are nice and well maintained, and there is a lot of shopping close by. It is close to major highways and is easy to get to them. Like every apartment complex the sense of community changes with people moving in and out. I have had great neighbors and some not so good, but as a mature adult I realize that is going to happen no matter what apartment complex you live in, even in more upscale expense places. This is also the 2nd time I have lived here. When I first moved to Austin I had an apartment here at Whisper Hollow for about 3 years and then moved into a house. When I downsized and needed to move back into an apartment I came back to Whisper Hollow.
