Management does not understand concepts too well in regards of rental payments and what is concisely covered by the payment of rent. when i first looked at this place, i wanted a one bedroom which was within my range. management gave away my apartment and gave me a two bedroom instead. i was unable to pay one month rent in august but was on time every month after that since august. their explanation of this is that i have been late every month just so they can dock up the late fees for me. trying to play catch up is not what was supposed to happen.
So for the past six months, it has taken over a month or more to get things taken care of in the apartment, even after several orders were placed in, including the a/c, the missing number plate and knocker on the door (which by the way, we ended up having hotel numbers with the braille on them attatched), the entire stove/oven (which they argued to us about saying it was just the element but ended up being just old and broken), the cabinet doors, everyone knows that... oh yeah, the cabinet doors are still on backwards which looks retarted..., the missing cabinet door in the bathroom that was supposed to be placed on two months, the broken kitchen counter, the non-functional, non-holding electric plugs(the appliacnes and prongs wont stay in the plug cuz they were placed incorrectly) and certainly not the last of this long list but definitely the worse.... RATS... Yes, that's right, rats. four thirty in the morning you do not want to find a rat in the bedroom but i did. i showed it to management, SHE screamed and said she would take care of it. Now, saying that the situation will be taken care of would consist of calling and exterminator and taking care of the situation, placing a sticky rat trap under the refrigerator is not a method of execution to use for such a travesty. SHAME. Finally, having unauthorized tennants in the apartment is understandably unacceptable, but girlfriends that come over all the time that do not live there are not unauthorized tennants. C'mon, if you think you can find someone else to rent the rat infested, broken down, piece of garbage you call an apartment, be my guest!!! I'd rather live somewhere than see the inside of that hole in the wall again.
Stop lying to the tennants and tell them what you are... SLUM LORDS!

like i said earlier, i could continue on with the wrongdoings of this apartments, but i need to go kill the rats...

Isn't it funny that a majority of the people who write these bad reviews are the ones who are either under eviction for non-payment of rent or is going to be evicted for non-payment of rent.

That's where you are wrong. Rent was paid on time all the time. Stayed in a one bedroom and moved up to a two bedroom. Timely rent paid. (This was in the Hal days). When ole Gloria came along, she was looking for reasons to toss people out. If anything, it was who SHE THOUGHT should and should not live there even if you had the ability to pay and were a quiet tenant. She had several reservations about people--people that lived there years before she came. Her sole purpose was to move ppl out and rent at higher rates. Once accomplished, she would move on. And so it is. I've read a lot of the reviews here--it was once a nice place. The type of person you are is how you will lead or manage. Critical, condensending, prejudgemental, inequitable and incompetent management are in no way professional. I'm not crazy about giving up my hard earned money to a person/merchant/business that displays these characteristics. I watched 3 stores in that area go out of business. I'd like to say it was because I refused to shop there but really it was the collective effort of a few folks like myself who want what is right, just, and fair. So to answer your question: No, it's not funny. Some were compelled to leave.
