Yes the previous reviewer was correct, this was a jewel of a place in 1996 of 1997, but the place really has gone down hill. The manager also took my rent checks and sent me eviction notices saying she never recorded it. I would have to always have paid cancelled checks at the ready every month. The company is "mormon" group out of Salt Lake City who owns this and other properties around Lamar blvd. They don't believe in up keep or screening, all they want is the rent to be paid on time and not hear of any other complaints. This place is a heaven for illegals, hookers and drug dealers. When you see your apartment complex on TV at night, showing how hookers took over Lamar blvd, maybe something is wrong.

I totally agree about the management co. for this property--all their properties in Austin suck and they are totally unprofessional and hire idiots to run their properties. Stay away from any properties managed by Arbor Properties. I know of one of their other sites in which because the management co. would not pay the properties utility and supply bills on time or at all, the property had it's electricity shut off by COA on multiple occasions in it's main leasing office, pool area, and laundry room!The maintanence staff couldn't complete work orders because they couldn't get supplies from vendors who wouldn't do business w/them b/c of unpaid bills from the management co.! So, the question is. . .where does your rent $$ go if they are not paying the bills????
