This was my first apartment after fleeing the proverbial coop. I lived in two units during my nearly three years there. The managers at the time wouldn't do anything about a guy above me who stomped around and played loud music at all hours of the day. That prompted me to move to a larger, top floor apartment and the electric bills weren't that bad for a top floor with vaulted ceilings. However, my bicycle was stolen from my SECOND floor balcony on the front side of the complex! There was an incident that kids from the apartment next door slashed tires on several vehicles...including three of the four on my now husband's truck! If you live in the hood, no matter how nice you keep your place, the hood rats will find there way in...gates or not. Also, the second pool was almost never open. I know it sounds bad, but most of the time I actually had no problems. The maintenance guys turned out quick to seal the chimney after a mouse got in - DOH! I don't think I could bring myself to move back in.
