Reading the other reviews, I can tell that a lot has changed since they lived here. Let me tell you about my experience..
I'm a student, and I used to live in a student apartment. It was way too noisy there at all times of day and night. So, I decided to move to a residential apartment complex. That's when I discovered Wildwood. My first impression was of the manager- she's an extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, and friendly woman who really cares about each person who lives here. She remembers every resident's name and is always willing to help. The rest of the staff is great, too! My apartment is really big for what I pay- I could definitely have a roommate if I wanted to. The appliances work well, I have awesome vaulted ceilings, and a fireplace. I've never actually started it up, but it's a really great accent in my living room. I live right by one of the pools (there are two), so some times I will hear the local kids splashing around, but I kind of like that. There's never any noise at night, and no rowdy college kids.
They're renovating the grounds right now, and I think they're doing a great job. New plants, new boards for the balconies, new roofs! The only bad thing that has happened is the gate. In the first place, I don't think gated communities deter any criminals from entering (we don't have a problem with that, anyway). They recently started closing the gate, and in order to have guests, they have to dial your (512) number. There's no code that you can just enter, you have to swipe a card. It's really kind of a pain, but I honestly don't think it can last for much longer. Yesterday I had to change my number to a (512) number. Kind of a pain, but it's not like they did it all at once. They have been warning us about it for months, really. The management is really good about notifying the residents.
I've recommended this community to my friends who seek a quiet, convenient, and friendly apartment complex and who don't want to spend a lot of money. I'd say it's definitely worth a visit.

A lot has changed since...you moved into the management office? The manager is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, and friendly....I bet y'all had a great chuckle writing that crap. I know I nearly peed myself. The manager remembers everyone's name? She calls us all stupid. The apartments aren't that big when you have a few hundred roach roomates. The gates get forced open nearly every night. You call it quiet? I love my 2am ghetto wake up call...Don't you just love mariachi in the morning. It's convenient...if ya like to buy crack...Don't want to spend a lot of money? Just wait till you get the water bill.

Obviously, you work there or you wouldn't be giving it such a great review.
