Glad I found this place

I used to live in east Austin, and this is a big difference. The staff is always polite and attentive: the manager remembers my name though I only see her once every couple of months.
On the other hand, the appliances are fairly old in appearance and have begun breaking down on me. The microwave, in particular, will not open, and I had to replace it myself. On the weekends, I have to fight for a parking space, and though I love the pool, it didn't work for half of last summer.
Next month, I'm moving out. I've been staying here because I'm getting a great price for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, but the plumbing has started to leak horribly, and it's like I'm paying for an extra bathroom that I don't even get to use. After renewing my lease for the last term, management upped my rent from $745 to $785 and told me that I would have to move out and stay in a hotel in order to get the plumbing fixed.
I think there was a lot of damage to this apartment before I moved in, and management hid it well. For instance, mold damage is beginning to accrue from the water problems. After this past year, I don't recommend these apartments to anyone.
