I had lived here for about a year with a roommate. Some of the ammenities here are nice...the working security gate, the washer/dryer in the unit, assigned parking, etc.

There are definitely some major drawbacks though...
1) The woman working in the office, I think her name was Michelle, was completely and utterly useless. Couldn't seem to get a straight answer out of her on any issue/policy that my roommate and I faced. She also constantly seemed to lose our paperwork and maintenance requests.

2) The pool was disgusting...and apparently doubled as the "local bathtub" on the weekends.

3) Though there is designated parking for the units, there's plenty of residents there that pay no attention to these and seem to park wherever they damn please. I also found that some guy there seemed to think an unmarked, and unassigned spot in the parking lot was "his" b/c he'd lived there longer. F**k that. He eventually resorted to having his kid sit out in the spot if he moved his car so that nobody could park there.

4) Oh yeah, there's crazy folks living there...see above.

5) The location sucks...you're basically sandwiched between an industrial park and the lovely ghetto.

There are better locations/values throughout the Austin area than this one.

there is new management as well as maintenance also lots of upgrades since this review,dont know who this resident was but obviously disturbed by their surroundings.

I was the manager at the time you lived there and I would like to know what your issues were and what was not addressed properly. I was there from 1997-2006 and it was a great property and still is. I don't recall "losing" anyones paperwork or service requests. Apparently there was more to your story then what you are telling. Funny how all negative feedback is anonymous?
