Okay - The main reason I got this apartment was convenience of proximity to St. Edward's campus. In that respect, it was awesome - I roll out of bed, walk across the soccer field and I'm at class. It was actually closer than some dorms and on campus housing.
The apartment is modest sized, maintainence is pretty responsive, the big problem is security. My car was broken into in the parking lot as were several others while I lived there...

the apartment manager is rude. He will leave nasty letters on your door if you do anything wrong. One time I put my trash outsite the door and was about to leave in a hour and take it out when I left for work. He put a letter on my door within 10 mins. that he was going to charge me $25 for doing it. I have talked to 8 other people who have had issues with him. The parking lot is horrid. It is hard to park and get out of the tight parking spaces. The curbs are broken, trees damages, fences knock down all from cars hitting things. My car has been broken into. The girl next door has had her car broken into 4 times. The manager allows a homeless guy to dig through the dumpster. I was informed by the girl next door that we live by a methadone clnic, behind us are the projects (ghetto) a strip club one block over, we also live a blck over from a gross by the hour motel know for hookers. You can look up the crime in APD for the area. It's really high. Rape and theif mainly. They keep rasing the rent because it's by "soco" but the apartments are falling apart and they never fix anything. I've only been here for 5 months, but I'm leaving ASAP. I've talked to tentants that have been here for years. it only gets worse.
