Multiple Managers in a 1 Year time period

From: -Anonymous-
Date posted: 12/14/2002
Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2002

1st thing was having only patio furniture on the balcony (we have a wooden rocker)
2nd Refrigerator broke destroying two weeks worth of food ($100), when we requested payment the manager told us they would not do it because we had not called when the refrigerator broke (It was okay at 9PM and broken the next morning..should we sit in front of it every night to make sure it's working')
3rd After calling 4 times in one day to get repairs made (in a civil tone each time) my husband answered the door to find an off duty policeman who lives in the complex with his pistol in the holster slung over his arm. The officer stated my husband should stop harassing the office staff.
4th Thursday evening, a notice was posted on our door with strong language stating that I would be taken to jail for a returned check from Feb, 2002. 2 months before I was told we had a credit on our account. I went through files and discovered that I had paid the check in Feb and took it to the office. The only response from the guy who works on the weekend was that "someone must have just found it lying around and sent it". I checked my mail today to discover a request to vacate, when this same person also told me he couldn't tell me because he could not get into the computer (someone changed the pasword and had not told him, even though he was the only one in the office today) What's especially sad he is the only one who behaves halfway decently Tje others are rather snobby, snotty women. We have lived here 4 years and have seen a constant change of managers every 3-4 months. I think this is more about Westdale Apartment Management as much as anything else.

We truthfully were wanting to move for a while and just found the thought of packing pretty daunting
