Yo!

Not terrible -- not fantastic

We had some issues with the apartment including the carpet (which had a pet smell when we moved in and was never replaced) and minor repairs that were never done.

Our air conditioner broke last February and it took more than a month for it to be fixed.

It seems, in general, that you must pester the apartment management (which does change often) for any repairs.

The apartments were built in the 1980s and the cupboards and cabinets are thin wood.

We have had some ant invasions.

The most annoying part of our experience has been the water sprinklers outside. These seem to break every month and geysers of water come out and run down the street creating a mudslide area in the parking lot. Not only is it messy, but we pay for the water. To make it more aggravating, the new managers have a habit of driving their golf carts over the grass and the sprinklers - exacerbatting the situation....

In general, however, our overall experience has not been bad. The apartment is nicely laid out and has light blue carpet, there is a built in bookcase in the living room and the kitchen is bigger than a lot of other apartments we looked at. The walk-in closets are great, and the appliances are in good condition. Also - we have hardly ever heard anything through the walls - in fact we can't even hear our own phone from the balcony.

The location is convienent to about everything and, although they do need to be pestered, the management has always been polite.

If there were larger apartments - we would probably consider staying.

Last complaint - when our lease came up for renewal the best 'promotion' we were offered was for 2 weeks free at our current rental price (if we had left and come back it would have been cheaper with 2 months free) - not a huge complaint either, however, as we have heard from other friends that this is what they are getting from their apartments as well. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
