I've lived at Wind River Crossings since May and in the beginning everything was fine until the next month.
1) A/C went out and it took 3 months before someone came to fix it. This was during the summer and it was a sauna in my apartment.
2) I wanted to get extra time to pay my rent after someone took $400 dollars out of my checking account. The management told me they would take a postdated check so I can have it taken of when i got everything taken care of. Instead of waiting until the date we agreed on they cashed the check the same day, overdrafting my account. Then they charged me a returned check fee saiding I didnt tell them not cash the check that day.
3) Dont get a apartment in the front because the traffic noise is loud and will ruin your sleep.
4) The hot tub is never hot unless the sun warms it to lakewarm, then maybe.
5) Walls are thin so dont say any important information to loud or your neightbors will hear it.
6) Parking is terrible after 5pm so you have to rush to get back to the complex or park in the far back.

I'm out of my lease in May and hopefully the next place I go will be better.

Communicate when you remediate. Establish that the health and safety of the building occupants are top priority. Demonstrate that the occupants concerns are understood and taken seriously. I am an occupant naturally concerned about the mold growth in my aparment and the potential health impacts. I am concerned of hidden mold growth in the pipe chases and utility tunnels (with leaking or condensing pipes), condensate drain pans inside air handling units, porous thermal or acoustic liners inside duct work, or roof material above ceiling tiles (due to roof leaks or insufficient insulation.) Sampling cannot be used to check a bldg's compliance with Federal mold standards. All concerns should be addressed to texas legislature and statutes (property codes) section 1-8. Also be advised to Tenants Rights. Be informed not warned!
