The management here is so friendly. I was new in Texas and they befriended me instantly. They love my dogs and always make me feel welcome. After working 9 years in retail I understand that the only people who complain are bitter and probably don't pay their rent. If you were evicted and angry you would probably complain too, but it's their fault!! I CANNOT hear my neighbors or the traffic and I live in the front of the property. This is an older complex and it's not perfect but it has personality for sure! I have lived here now for over a year and do NOT plan on moving. Thank you Wind River for making my move to another state easy!

I posted several complaints on this board and I was neither evicted or delinquent in my rent. Wind River has horrible management and should be avoided.

How much did they pay you to write such a good review for this place? The management has been snotty & rude to me from the very beginning. The parking lot is full of pot holes & tears up your car. The sprinklers leak & sometimes spew water out like a geyser for days, then your water bill goes up to $40/month because they don't fix it. It takes 45 minutes for the shower to get hot in the morning. I get up 30 mins early & turn it on, then go back to bed to wait for it to get hot. They hired the cheapest laborers to fix the siding that was falling off, support beams that were rotten, and trim the trees. They're probably illegal aliens. This is one of the worst apartments I've ever lived in & I think you must be crazy if you really think it's as great as you say.

If you live in the front of this complex and can't hear the 183 traffic (and I mean clearly), then really ought to go see a hearing specialist. That was by far the biggest downside to living there, and I don't think I ever had someone enter my apartment who didn't comment on how loud the traffic was. They might as well have built the apartments that face 183 in the center median - it really is that loud. Why would on earth would you make this comment? Seriously, you are either deaf, lying, or confused about where your apartment is located.
