Seems nice at first, but...

They have this look and lease special, where they pressure you with $300 off if you sign the lease that day, and the place seems really nice at first, except for the huge potholes in the driveway. But the management is AWEFUL. They are all young girls who give you this fake niceness attitude, but you can still tell they don't give a crap. They are even misleading when they answer your questions. For instance I was specifically looking for a place with a hot tub, and when I asked about it when I was touring the place the girl responded, "oh, yeah it's over there, but they're working on it right now and it will be fixed real soon. i can't show it to you right now, but it's real nice." But the same day lease signing rule still applied if I wanted that $300. I asked a neigbor recently, and nobody has actually worked on it in a long time, there's just a padlock on the gate, and three months later they give me the same answer "real soon." The same applies for the fitness center, and I had to just go buy a gym membership.
Which brings me to another point: they don't fix things, and when they do the maintenance guy won't warn you first, and half the time won't even knock before he barges right on in. But my biggest complaint is the contractors that they get to come out. They obviously hire the cheapest labor available, and it shows. Some of them are even creepy.
The bottom line... This isn't exactly the crappiest place in Austin, but for the amount of rent you end up paying here, you should be treated better.
