I just moved recently from Wind River after a year. I had a few problems with maintenance (a/c broke 3 times in 11 days) My daughter was 18 months at the time so naturally i was pretty peeved. I came home from work with a work order on my counter saying the a/c was "fixed" to bad it wasn't getting below 90. Mind you this is August in TEXAS. I went to the office and demanded that they fix my a/c or I would call the health department. The guy told me and I quote " We're sorry the ants keep getting into the contactor and shorting it out, we can only fix it so many times" My reply "Don't I pay 10$ extra a month for pest control" Aby (manager),and maintenance guy "Uh....there is nothing we can do ma'am" Ding-ding ,in walks potential new residences Aby greets them and I say a little louder "So your telling me that I'm going to have to call the tenant council and the health department''" Aby "we'll have someone there within the hour" The guy was there no more than 15 minutes later and my a/c was fixed in 10. So apparently they don't care about your problems until you are threatening to drive business away. I didn't have a problem since then. I would say Kenny is great but Aby is definitely not professional or nice for that matter. If I was like her I would probably be calling her something worse.... but I'm not like her.

I'm sorry that you had such a negative experience with Aby. I have been living here for 4 years now, and I HAVE had a/c problems before in the past and it was fixed as quickly as allowable (ordering parts could take up to a day or two). This type of thing happens from time to time, and it's not in Aby's control whether your a/c breaks or not. The maintenance guys could use some work with cleaning up after themselves from time to time. And your right, Kenny was very nice, but he is no longer working here, and from what I've understood he is not going to be coming back anytime soon. I would stop trying to have relationships with the office staff, and keep in mind that they are just personell and they are doing the best to do their jobs. Don't let personal problems with people get in the way of your relationships.

It's obvious that this an employee of Wind river. "Stop trying to have a relationships with the office staff" WOW!!! this is just an example of how unprofessional the staff really is. I guess when they eliminate the use of the rent drop box and you actually have to go hand your rent check to an employee would be considering trying to have a relationship with the staff. Don't know where your from lady but you must have problems 1)living in an apt for 4 years 2) what you call "trying to have relationships" Guess you must be a little on the easy side if that's what you would call handing in your rent lol
