I have lived at Woodhollow for almost a year now and overall I really love it. I like the floorplans they offer; the one I am in has an attached bathroom for both bedrooms and that is definitely a plus. The kitchen is quite cozy in my floorplan, but it's efficient so I like it. This complex was also the only one I could find in the Far West area that had washer and dryer included and didn't charge extra for it, although I looked over a year ago so that may have changed. They are small units, but I would still prefer that over going to a laundry mat.
The apartment complex is really old, I have met a few parents of friends that lived here as well when they were in college, so there are some features reflecting its age. For instance, there is a wet bar in the living room and the ceiling fan and overhead light in the bedrooms plug into the wall and do not have a wall switch, but that isn't too big a deal and you get used to it. Given that it is old, you are also likely to have a few maintenance needs along the way. On a more positive note, there are a number of available features that I think really make the place a lot more homey such as accent walls and a sunken living room with "wood looking" floors (first floor only though). Also if you have first floor your patio will probably have a little dirt patch you can plant stuff in which is pretty cool. The complex is undergoing renovations right now. They are repainting the exterior, not sure what color yet though. It looks a bit weird right now because there are random buildings painted different colors, a few of them pastel. I think they are still trying to decide what color to do, not sure why they would ever consider an Easter color though. Hopefully they will pick a good color and get it all painted soon, once they do that I would give the grounds 5 stars. They also just did a bunch of work cutting back some trees so that is looking quite nice. There are lots of trees in this complex, very shady.
Johan, the maintenance guy, is really nice. He has come to my apartment a number of times to fix various things, sometimes the same thing breaking again, and every time he is very nice and respectful. The staff at the office has changed a few times since I've been involved with Woodhollow, but the current woman working the desk, Barbara, is really sweet, always very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help you out if she can. I must say though that other reviews are kind of right about Gwen. I think she is a bit stubborn and therefore sometimes unwilling to reason. I had issues before moving in and ended up having to call corporate to get things resolved, but I have not had any other issues with her since I moved in. I would just advise being polite and assertive with her, if it's something major and you don't stand up for yourself you are likely to get screwed.
Note about the pet policy: Large dogs are only allowed on first floor apartments, but I think their definition of large dog might be >50 lbs, not >25 lbs. The pet deposit fee is currently $300 per pet with a $10 monthly pet rent. It used to be a lot cheaper and they did not have a pet rent in the past, but I think it changed at the beginning of the year when the ownership changed. In general, I think they are a very pet friendly complex. There are some outdoor cats that roam around a lot and the majority of my neighbors have dogs. Interestingly, I have only heard a dog bark once.

Hmmm... This review reads more like a pamphlet you would find in the Leasing Office. Also, did you take the photo of the dining room set yourself, or did you get the photo from the Leasing Office (perhaps the woodhollow website website)?

Sorry my thoroughness is a turn off to you. I can assure you I am nothing more than a resident giving my honest opinion of the complex, hence the negative mentions in there. For me, the positives (for instance the cheap price, location, and washer dryer) outweigh the negatives. Those pictures were taken by me when I was touring the complex and as far as I know Woodhollow has not had a website since management switched this year. As people are reading over these reviews, it's important to keep in mind that different people have different experiences. Some people have had some very atrocious experiences living here, while others have had pleasant ones. People also have different standards and expectations for their living conditions. This is not a new fancy complex; if you have high standards of living, don't live here. If you are going to be really annoyed having to call maintenance on a monthly basis for various things, don't live here. If you are rigid about your self grooming schedule and will have a major issue with the water being turned off for hours, sometimes scheduled, sometimes not, don't live here. If you can't go a few days or maybe even a week without a dryer because they are ordering a replacement for a broken one, don't live here. To me, these things aren't that big a deal and I haven't experienced any severe problems, so I love living here. Reviews are meant to aid potential renters in giving them feedback from residents about their experiences. Reviews should be utilized by weighing the negative experiences people have had with the positive experiences and ultimately deciding for oneself whether or not it is a good fit.
