Not a bad deal all around...

The bottom line: you're paying $495 a month. Shut up. You also get free gas heat, gas stove and gas hot water.

I moved here last year and, yeah, my apartment smelled like gas. But, it's simply because the pilot was out on my oven. I figured it out after a while (I don't do a lot of baking), lit the pilot and the smell went away.

It's not that noisy at all. No parties to speak of.

The parking does suck a bit. Basically enough for .8 cars per apartment (not so good), but you can park on the street (which I often without problems).

Laundry is economical and never filled.

The complex is old, so the walls may be cracked in some places as it settles, but that's not a big surprise.

Haven't had much of a call for maintenance.

All in all, no big deal.

And again, for $495 and the fact that I'm not living in squalor like the complexes around us, mean that I have not a thing to complain about.
