Contrary to what some people are saying Woodway Village is a great place to live. The management has been polite and helpful in responding to any concerns I have had, and works hard to keep the tenants in touch with what's going on in the community (positive and negative). I have had 0 problems with my neighbors, and find that my neighbors that I have met are friendly and courteous to eachother. Some of the previous reviews indicate that this complex is "ghetto" or "a jungle" which could not be further from the truth. The floorplans are cool, and every apt comes with it's own garage. Keep in mind there are kids around as this is a low income complex for families, but I have yet to see the kids here act different from young people anywhere else. The complex is pretty spacious and there is plenty of room for the children to play on, and they take advantage of the extra space to be kids and do what kids do. Additionaly if there is an issue with their behavior I don't see where managment is responsible for bad parenting. Overall I feel a greater sense of community here than any other of the numerous complexes I have rented in Austin. I think some of the people who posted previously may have had a bigger issue with the demographic of the neighborhood more than anything else.
