These apartments used to be half way decent for the money(keep in mind you can't expect much for rent in the high 4's and low 5's).

Managment is constantly changing and as with many low rent apartment complexes, the office staff is very unorganized and unprofessional.

As the previous reviewer stated, the mailboxes have this muddy sludge all around them and you can't walk to your mailbox without stepping in several inches of mud.

The apartments have a policy against junk on porches but never enforce it. My neighbors had old furniture sitting on their porch for months and management didn't do a thing about it even after several complaints. It was like living in a junk yard. I was embarrassed to invite anyone to my apartment.

Parking is also horrible. Nothing is done to enforce policies against junker cars sitting around taking up space.

One last thing, you better like Tejano music if you are going to live there. Because it is pretty much what you are going to hear morning noon and night. VERY VERY LOUD.

The cabinet work inside the apartments reminds me of when me and my brothers used to build club houses with scrap wood.

My car has been broken in to multiple times. Management now claims there is onsite security guards, however no one has ever seen one of these guards and management will not say who they are or which security company provides this service. The Balch Springs police say they have not been notified of any security personell monitoring the premises.
