I moved into the Arbors almost a month ago. I do enjoy living here; the grounds are pretty well-kept, I've never been bothered by neighbors, and my apartment is nice and cozy.

However, the apartment is grossly overpriced for the size and condition it's in. In addition to many other small things (such as seriously out-dated, stained linolium in the kitchen, and a broken window in the living room), part of the kitchen's countertop is missing, the dishwasher and garbage disposal are broken, and the breaker box (located on my bedroom wall) is in code violation.

Although the landlady told me mine was the largest one-bedroom model, it's still a tiny apartment. An apartment of that size, and in such repair, is way overpriced at $625/mo.

Speaking of the landlady; when I complained about these things, she told me "honey, we have one repairman, and he has better things to do than fix things like that." Right. She also told me if anyone complains to the owner, they kick you out. Not that I believe her, but the fact that she would say something so ridiculous is, well, ridiculous.

Anyways, besides those things, I like my apartment itself well enough. I usually can get a parking spot right next to my building; I feel safe at night (despite there have been police cars outside my building the other night; apparently there was some domestic dispute). There's a laundry room on site, which is roach-infested and dirty, but at least my clothes get clean...and the pool is fine.
