Very nice apartments - newest in Bastrop, and in an excellent location. Easy access to Hwy 71, Hwy 21, Hwy 95. I had a 1-br apt for a year and never had any problems at all - plenty of parking, and even easy to park my longbed extra cab pickup. Gated community - in my year here, I never saw the gates not working. VERY helpful staff - always had my delivery packages ready for me to pick up. The only annoyances are the mail boxes are on the wrong side of the complex and the close attention to grounds upkeep means you have to listen to leaf blowers a couple of times a week. So, if that's the only detractors, that ain't much. I'd highly recommend the Lodge at Lost Pines.
