This is the best apartment available in Bastrop but it is important to remember that it is Bastrop. There is an obvious bird problem which staff indicate that they can do nothing about; however, it would be good if they continued to ensure that the facility stay as clean as possible. Our lease will be up early in the new year but I have to say that I do not intend to renew it. Neighbors often keep to themselves, can be noisy at times (super loud arguments at random times in the night) but no one appears to want to tell on their neighbor and get that resolved. Seems pretty safe but be sure to park your car as far away from others as possible because I have found dings and such on a regular basis.
Office staff super helpful (I think they do the best that they can with the resources that they have- maintenance staff not so much. Finally, the gates are regularly broken so don't count on truly living in a gated community.
