I will never live here again. The rent is outragoues and they go up every year. You could live in Austin for the same, or cheaper. There is atleast one gate that is broken weekly, they are usually broken for several days to a week at a time. You are paying so much to live in "gated apartments" but the gates are ALWAYS broken. The manager is not very nice..if you're going to be in the customer service business you have to actuall like people. And yes you do have to fight for parking, depending on where you live. The walls are pretty thin..can hear the people next to you if their music is too loud. I will live in the Arbors before I move here again (and if you know Bastrop, you know how bad that is). They can take their time fixing stuff for you and getting stuff for you , but if they need something from you, you better have it right away. People are always coming and going , I've never been in an aparment where I see moving vans weekly.

Jeez - I lived there about 4 years ago and loved it. And my rent was $600. It's gone up less than $100 in 4 years? In 3 years where I'm at now, my rent's gone up $160. Quitcherbellyachin'. Apartments are apartments - if it's been built since 1980, the walls are going to be paper thin - that's just the cheapo construction of your typical apartments. Have you tried renting a single family house, or maybe buying?
