I relocated from a premier condo on Galveston Island after hurricane IKE.
My living conditions were rated a 9 out of 10.
I have really gotten to know the people here at Pine Point and I can say they are all very nice and seemingly honest.
It is not the prettiest, or the best kept but the staff and lower rents coupled with a nice size patio as well as a super friendly Management, has made this a nice refuge from battered Galveston.
I have a well kept dog and there are walking areas, and he seems very well liked and adjusted.
Probably, the rents could be adjusted downward a good bit...But to me, the entire area is overpriced (for where Bastrop is, in the grand scheme of things) but Pine Point is definitely reasonable in comparison to other properties in the area.
It sits just on the outskirts of downtown Bastrop and is a nice bike ride to town.
There is also a Large state park and golf course across the street.
